2010 Northwest Permaculture Convergence - Friday

Here are my photos from Friday of the 2010 Northwest Permaculture Convergence held at South Seattle Community College in Seattle, WA.  Email me if you’d like copies of anything.  You can find photos of Saturday and Sunday of the permaculture convergence here.

(What I Assume To Be) Heirloom Tomatoes – Nothing like getting together for the day with some of the best organic gardeners in the Pacific Northwest

Lots of Carrots – They came in what had to be a 25 lb. sack of carrots

My Tomatoes – These were part of our food contribution for the week. The green ones to the right are called Green Zebras, and the rest are about 5 varieties of red tomatoes, heirloom and some local Burien, WA hybrids

Bowl of Potatoes – Not the most interesting vegetables I took photos of but the photo turned out great…

How To Eat Your City Panel at the PacNW Permaculture Convergence – featuring staff from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Parks & Recreation, Planning & Development, Richard Conlin’s Office, and Seattle Public Utilities – All were very thoughtful speakers, and it was a pleasure to see what amazing advocates the Permaculture movement has in the city

Paul Wheaton rants & raves about Wofati Homes (and I mean that in the most impressed way I can – easily the presentation I was most looking forward to this weekend)
